Department Chair: Mr. David KochFaculty:The
purpose of the Social Studies Department is to direct the development
of reflective, competent and concerned citizens. We expect students to
acquire and disseminate information from a variety of sources. Using
this information, the student will be able to make informed decisions
based upon the values learned from interaction within spheres of
relationships. These relationships include: the global community, the
United States, the local community, the Catholic Church and the family.
The student will learn their rights and responsibilities within these
relationships in order that they may live according to truth and
justice.
