Greetings! I began teaching Drama and Speech at St. Michael’s in 1997. Over the years I have directed over 30 productions here with students who have a wide variety of experience levels. Before coming to SMCA, I spent ten years in the Dallas-Fort Worth area working in all aspects of theatre, film and television production. I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Drama with a double major in Psychology from Oklahoma State University, and earned a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Theatre Direction from UT. I am a member of Actors’ Equity Association. Every day I try to provide students with a supportive learning environment and production experience that sparks creativity, and promotes self-confidence. I hope all of my students come to see the importance of a rich and varied arts education and appreciate the unique experience of live theater.
