Musical Theatre Camp
June 14th-30th, 2010, 9 AM to 2 PM
For Incoming Fall Semester
5th - 8th Graders
This exciting summer musical theatre camp provides youngsters with the opportunity to discover and develop their acting and singing skills while having fun! All students will have an opportunity to perform in one or two solo, duo, or trio scenes and numbers; along with one or two big group numbers. Each day will include vocal and physical warm ups, theater and improvisation games, and scene and song rehearsals. The ten-day camp culminates in a public performance in St. Michael’s beautiful state-of-the-art Gloria Delgado Performing Arts Theatre.

Introduction to Entrepreneurship Camp
June 2nd through June 8th 2010, 8:30 AM to 3 PM
The Introduction to Entrepreneurial camp is held for one week and designed to foster entrepreneurial initiative by building skills in communication, team-building, and management. The camp teaches students how to recognize a problem, design a solution, and start a business. Activities will include classroom instruction, interactive activities, Entrepreneur Resident speakers, case studies, and field trips to local businesses. Students will create their own business plan for an actual business start-up and present the plans for cash awards as seed money for their business or for their college account. Applications for summer internships will also be completed as available.
